Eligibility for Refunds
You may be eligible for a refund under the following circumstances:
- You are dissatisfied with your first lesson and request a refund within 48 hours
- A lesson was cancelled by the tutor with less than 24 hours notice
- Technical issues prevented the lesson from taking place and could not be resolved
- You purchased a lesson package and have not used any lessons from the package
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are generally not available in these situations:
- Lessons that have already been completed beyond the first session
- Cancellations made by the student with less than 24 hours notice
- Failure to attend a scheduled lesson without prior notification
- Partial use of a multi-lesson package
- Promotional or discounted lesson packages

- Depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account
Lesson Credits
In some cases, we may offer lesson credits instead of monetary refunds. Credits can be:
- Applied to future lessons with any tutor on our platform
- Used within one year from the date of issuance
- Transferred to another course or subject area
Package Cancellations
For multi-lesson packages:
- Unused lessons from packages can be cancelled for a pro-rated refund within 30 days of purchase
- A cancellation fee may apply depending on the package terms
- Any used lessons will be charged at the standard single-lesson rate
- Promotional package pricing will be adjusted accordingly
Tutor Changes
If you are unsatisfied with your tutor, we encourage you to try a different tutor before requesting a refund. We will help you find a better match at no additional cost.
Technical Issues
If technical difficulties prevent a lesson from occurring:
- We will first attempt to reschedule the lesson at no charge
- If rescheduling is not possible, we will issue a full refund or credit
- We recommend testing your equipment before lessons to avoid technical issues
